Governor Tim Pawlenty Talks Energy Policy

Red County Washington participated in a Republican National Committee conference call with Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty this afternoon. The governor discussed Senator Obama's energy policy ahead of the Democratic nominee's visit to Minneapolis on Thursday.
Pawlenty highlighted key differences between both presidential candidates on issues, including a gas tax holiday, offshore drilling and nuclear power. While McCain favors these options, Obama is opposed. However, in keeping with Democrat tradition, Obama seems to be flip-flopping on offshore drilling.
Governor Pawlenty pointed out Obama's change of heart saying, "He is obviously thrashing about, trying to grab on to the idea and catch up to the idea for the week. It is obviously belated, it is haphazard."
Not mincing words, Pawlenty also said, "I believe Senator Obama has just misunderstood and under-appreciated this crisis. It is going to need to be dealt with boldly and aggressively," he said.
The energy crisis has clearly reached the tipping point with the American people, with a solid majority favoring offshore drilling. Senator Obama has failed to anticipate or adequately address the problem and has no real comprehensive plan or credibility on the issue.

Can anyone actually tell me what issues the good Senator, who has spent 143 days in office and 141 of them campaigning for ANOTHER office, actually has credibility ON?
He's a JUNIOR SENATOR with ZERO experience or comprehension. The ONLY reason he's decided to change his stance on offshore drilling is because America is solidly in favor of the idea. It's political chicanery. Is there anyone out there in this wide world of sports who actually believes that this man REALLY wants to encourage more drilling?
No experience. No comprehension. No knowledge. Obama: the perfect candidate for a socialist tomorrow.
