Newspapers around the nation are facing grim economics. The Washington Post was hit hard with circulation declines which included its Everett Herald, but it was the USA Today that was knocked into near bankruptcy. Expect MAJOR cuts in employment at all of these newspapers. By the way the Seattle Times Sunday edition went into the tank with a 6% reduction in subscribers, that’s bad news for them.LINK1a
