BIOGRAPHY
A resident of Pullman, WA since 1987 – Jeff Williams is a husband of 15 years, father of two and small business owner who has been active in the conservative blogosphere for several years, and has been going through a personal political renaissance since 2004. Originally a die-hard Reagan Republican, Williams gave up his (R) affiliation some time ago, as the GOP abandoned conservative principles and seemed as intent on increasing spending and growing big government as was the democrat party. Williams has since adopted what he calls a “common sense conservative” philosophy and has spent a great deal of time reading the founding documents and the Constitution. Williams is an active organizer of the local “9.12” Project in Whitman County, WA and Latah County, ID, and proudly views writing for Red County as yet another red flag likely to have him put on a USDHS watch list. Williams is very much a complete political neophyte and prefers to remain that way – at least for the time being.

By Jeff Williams | 06/24/09
So, today was day one of our local media blitz leading up to the second Moscow / Pullman Tea Party, scheduled for SATURDAY JUNE 27th AT 4:00 PM in PULLMAN'S PINE STREET PLAZA. (On main, downtown.) OK, so that was a shameless plug. I admit it. In fact, here's another admission, this entire post is. What can I tell you, when it comes to projects near and dear to my heart, I am a shameless promoter. Here on the Palouse, we have been going... read more »

Reading Terrorists Miranda Rights?
By Jeff Williams | 06/11/09
From Leo Shishmanian of the Ada County Conservative Examiner we read that the Obama Administration now has ordered our troops in Afghanistan “to read Miranda rights to high value detainees captured and held at U.S. detention facilities in Afghanistan.” You're kidding me... right? As much as I support the efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, the more I am beginning to think that it's time for a unilateral... read more »

Proposal Proceeding!
By Jeff Williams | 05/08/09
UPDATE: A two-tour Iraq veteran who had requested to propose marriage to his girlfriend at tomorrow's WSU commencement only has one thing left to do... he needs to decide what he's going to say. Although his original request was presented (and rejected) by the registrar's office on three different occasions (count 'em, 1... 2... 3...) once the story got out and some diplomatic pressure was brought to bear... read more »

WSU Disses Navy Veteran's Proposal Request
By Jeff Williams | 05/08/09
Imagine, if you will, a graduation ceremony at a major state university. The festivities are a sight to behold while the tune of Elgar's “Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1” wafts through the rafters. Then, as one young coed makes her way down from the stage with her sheepskin in hand, she is met halfway down the aisle by a strapping young man, wearing an armed services uniform… he’s a Navy corpsman - just back... read more »

A nation of riflemen...
By Jeff Williams | 05/05/09
For the last 18 months, I have heard about an organization called the RWVA (Revolutionary War Veterans Association) and have been interested in participating in one of their “Appleseed Project” shooting programs. Why? Simple. A friend of mine who is an ex-marine (and a very legit operator) told me that they are possibly the best civilian shooting instruction program available today. I am a guy who has owned firearms for nearly 20... read more »

Would Jack Bauer please SHOOT Janeane Garofalo?
By Jeff Williams | 04/21/09
So, conservative pundit Glenn Beck stole some of my thunder this morning. I swear sometimes he and I must have been separated at birth. But I started writing this last night, and I'm going to finish it. Leftists already think conservatives simply mimic talk show hosts anyhow, so why not embrace that paradigm? Last night, me and the wifey were cruising through a couple episodes of Fox's "24" on the DVR. 24 has been one of my favorite... read more »
