BIOGRAPHY
Scott Raab, a native New Yorker, is a highly active political activist who concentrates his efforts on strengthening grassroots organization, education, and participation in the Republican Party. Before working in politics Scott served in the Military Intelligence community, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
He has worked on various campaigns throughout the state on every level of California politics the highest being the latest presidential campaign. While serving as the Kern County Coordinator for the McCain/Palin campaign, he led all the day to day operations during the primary overcoming strong leads of other candidates and eventually won the county in the general election with an 18% lead over Barrack Obama, the largest margin of victory in the state.
Since the election Scott has moved to Sacramento where is heavily involved with the local political scene. Since arriving he has started the fastest growing and largest Young Republicans Club in Sacramento and developed working relationships with local party and other political organization figure heads. For the sole purpose to hold elected official and others accountable for their actions throughout the community.
Scott currently serves as the Central Valley Vice Chair for the California College Republicans, the Secretary of the California Young Republicans Inc, and the Proud Chairman of the Sacramento Metropolitan Young Republicans.

I made my way down to Sacramento County Elections and like many others I was a little upset to find out that “Veteran” is not an acceptable Ballot Designation. As Chairman of the SMYR's I wanted to share our Endorsements. We are proud to support the following candidates. Sacramento County Republicans finally getting their act together

The Sacramento County Republican Party(SCRP) has really stepped up this year under new Chairwoman Sue Blake. In a very short amount of time we have seen the revived Lincoln/Reagan Dinner, a great State Fair booth showing, and even a must attend Christmas Party earlier this month hosted by Gubernatorial Candidate Meg Whitman.
