BIOGRAPHY

Raised in a family with strong values, Javier Manjarres' parents instilled in him the strong core conservative values he possesses today. Naturally confident and assertive, he learned early in his youth to take control of that confidence and put it to good use. His ambitious and resilient personality helped him to excel as a Business major in college and later as a small business owner. Having traveled to over 30 countries, Manjarres credits his experiences and understanding of many different cultures and customs for helping to mold him into man he has become. While on his travels abroad, he developed a passion for several types of combative arts. Two of the arts that have perfectly resonated with his strong personality, and that he is constantly pursuant of are Muay Thai and Israeli Krav Maga. Never one to mince his words, Manjarres wears his beliefs on his sleeve. He is not afraid to face down politicians and hold elected officials accountable. And not being someone to back down from asking tough questions, Manjarres has gained the reputation of being consistently aggressive and provocative. As Javier Manjarres would say, "The CRA is the proverbial right hook of the conservative movement."

Charlie Crist's Plumbers Get Flushed

By Javier Manjarres | 11/08/09

Well, the battle is joined in the quest for the title of “True Conservative” in Florida’s Republican Senate primary.  Charlie Crist, stung by recent criticism concerning his opportunism, lack of conservatism, and man-hug of President Obama, has sent his supporters forth to cast Marco Rubio, Crist’s primary opponent, in the image and likeness of Crist himself- as a dreaded “Republican In Name Only”-... read more »

More ghoulish shenanigans coming out of Florida

By Javier Manjarres | 10/31/09

Today being Halloween and all, it is fitting that some state and federal politicians have provided us with some old fashion trick-o-treat fun. In NY Congressional District 23, Republican candidate Dede Scozzafava has just treated us with her withdrawal from the contentious race-leaving Conservative candidate Hoffman to duke it out with the Liberal Democrat who is also running in the race.   In New Jersey, we have another treat in the... read more »

US Senate candidate Marco Rubio strikes again!

By Javier Manjarres | 10/27/09

The long anticipated speaking engagement at the Broward Republican Executive Committee (BREC) by US Senatorial candidate Marco Rubio turned out to be quite an event. A record crowd of more than 400 showed up to see the future Senator speak last night in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Back in August, the BREC lost control of its meeting when a supporter tried to both make and have a motion for the BREC to conduct a straw poll for its members’... read more »

Rubio Clobbers Crist In Yet Another Straw Poll

By Javier Manjarres | 10/14/09

At Wednesday night's Palm Beach County REC meeting, the committee conducted a straw poll to gauge its members’ preference in the forthcoming  Republican Primary for US Senate.  And once  again, Marco Rubio delivered yet another backhanded slap to Governor Charlie Crist.   The final vote was Rubio- 90, Crist-17, Smith-11 and Thorpe-4.  Yet another convincing beatdown of our supposedly unbeatable... read more »

SE Republican Club takes aim

By Javier Manjarres | 10/07/09

Last night the Southeast Republican Club’s monthly meeting was held at, of all places, a gun shooting range in Hollywood, Florida. The Southeast Republican Club is the largest and most popular club within the Broward Republican Party of Broward County. The club has gained notoriety for being the most outspoken and edgiest of all the clubs. Club President Ed Napolitano (pictured), who also put together the SE Conservative... read more »

Broward GOP Chair hammers 'the Messiah'

By Javier Manjarres | 10/06/09

Broward Republican Party Chairman Chip LaMarca,is weighing in on President Barack Hussein Obama's crushing and embarrassing rejection of his bid to hold the 2016 Olympics in Chicago. As Rush Limbaugh said it best,"he got bitch-slapped". LaMarca is listening to his constituents that are calling for more action from the local and state GOP by releasing a barrage of swipes at the Democrat Party and it's thug leaders. Here is the press... read more »

Offshore Drilling is an Essential Step Towards Energy Independence

By Javier Manjarres | 09/22/09

By Javier Manjarres and Vince Mariano  To say that the national energy policy formulated by the United States Congress has been both incoherent and self-defeating over the past three decades would be an understatement of epic proportions. Well intentioned but misguided legislation and regulation has not only made gasoline more expensive and the nation more dependent on foreign oil, it has also managed to impede technological... read more »

CRA Interview: On the record with Fmr. Congressman Mark Foley

By Javier Manjarres | 09/20/09

Those who thought former Congressman Mark Foley was going to disappear from the political landscape forever may be deeply disappointed. Indeed, it may surprise some to find that Foley is still popular and loved by many of his friends and supporters in his former Congressional District as well as throughout Palm Beach. Case in point-- last Tuesday, following a fundraiser for US Senatorial candidate Marco Rubio at the West Palm Beach hot... read more »

Florida Senator Pepe LeMieux stinks it up

By Javier Manjarres | 09/11/09

Several weeks back at the Republican Party of Florida Quarterly meeting in Orlando, I told Senator George LeMieux, then a mere candidate on the Governor’s short list, that I would support him just as long as he did not support any of President Obama’s Socialist policies. Believe it or not, I meant it. As most of the country knows by now, this past Wednesday night, South Carolina congressman Joe Wilson verbally expressed his... read more »

Conservative Republican Alliance(CRA) and Broward GOP make nice

By Javier Manjarres | 08/31/09

Last week my friend Roger Stone called me and asked me to join him for lunch with Broward GOP Chairman, Chip LaMarca. This meeting was arranged in the wake of the Broward Republican Executive Committee monthly meeting, an event that ended in disunity when a motion to take a straw poll for the forthcoming U.S. Senate race in Florida was shot down. Crist-Rubio battle for U.S. Senate nomination splits Broward Republicans. Chairman LaMarca... read more »
