Santa Ana to get 18 new police officers

HALLELUJAH!! In what could only be called a miracle, the City of Santa Ana could very well be getting 18 new officers to patrol the most crime ridden streets of any city in the County of Orange. In an announcement today from the Justice Department, more than 1 Billion dollars will be given to 1,046 different police departments in all 50 states to hire roughly 4,700 new police officers. Santa Ana man stabbed after he yells at taggers to stop

The Orange County Register has a story today about a 38 year old man, who upon seeing a group of taggers destroying someone elses property, yelled at them to stop. But of course, the street terrorist, who cost Santa Ana taxpayers and business owners more than $ 2 Million a year, proceeded to vandalize the property, then followed the man and stab him. Orange Mayor Carolyn Cavecche PRO- Business

The Orange County Register recently ran a story about Orange Mayor Carolyn Cavecche stepping in to ensure that a business that pays taxes was able to obtain a variance to display a 9 foot tall Incredible Hulk statue used to advertise an LA Boxing club in her city. Revenue forecasts way off across the country

During the last full fiscal year, revenues fell below the projections used to craft budgets in at least 38 states, were roughly on target in 10 states and ahead in just two. And states didn't just barely miss their revenue projections, they blew it by huge margins.
