Buchanan to Obama

By Gene Kneip | 02/04/09

Buchanan to Obama  A timely guest editorial by Pat Buchanan. Perhaps this should be sub-titled "What oft was thought, but ne'er so well expressed". Buchanan has put into words exactly what I have been thinking for a long, long, time, particularly with regard to the trillions of taxpayer dollars that are expended generation after generation. Here is a link to the report:  http://mediamatters.org/items/200803220001   "Barack says we... read more »

Sick to Death

By Gene Kneip | 02/01/09

I am sick to death of people around me jabbering in foreign languages! I am sick to death of having to step over the throngs of illegal aliens gathered on the sidewalks every morning waiting for building contractors to pick them up! I am sick to death of having to "Press 1 for English"! I am sick to death of the politicians pandering to these illegal aliens! I am sick to death of George Bush and his "North American Union", and very worried that... read more »

Global Warming...Please!!!

By Gene Kneip | 01/19/09

What do we want? Global Warming! When do we want it?  NOW!!!As I sit in New York and look out my windows, guess what?  It is snowing. But then, it has been snowing for pretty much the last four days. This morning it was just a light dusting, but, right now, it is snowing heavily with large flakes. I have lived in New York all my life, and this weather is without precedent.I, for one, am sick and tired of going out and cleaning... read more »

Charles Krauthammer on the fighting in Gaza

By Gene Kneip | 01/02/09

This is the best, and most fair, presentation I have read yet!! He is the first one to definitively address the problem of Hamas placing missile launchers in civilian neighborhoods, in order to cause the deaths of its own people so that the "usual bleeding hearts" will blame Israel. I repeat what I have said from the day the fighting began: I have yet to hear even one of the "Talking Heads"  call on Hamas to stop launching rockets into... read more »

From the New York Post, Dec 30, 2008. Required reading. I don't like to re-publish articles like this, but these thoughts are too important to miss. My fear is that these are exactly the type of ploys Obama would walk right into. In fact, from his far left viewpoint, he might well see such a hellish bargain as a victory for his "foreign policy", whatever that may be!I can just picture Obama, appearing on National TV, arms raised in triumph,... read more »

Stuck on Stupid

By Gene Kneip | 12/29/08

So the Bush administration has warned Israel to avoid civilian casualties. To which I say, "the charade continues!"  Thus far, the Administration has supported the Israeli attacks on Hamas, and well they should. In spite of the "Truce" Hamas agreed to, over 3,000 missiles have been launched into Israeli territory since the beginning of 2008. However, is it not time for the American Government to come out and state the simple... read more »

Monica Seeks New York Senate Seat

By Gene Kneip | 12/29/08

Former White House intern, Monica Lewinsky, has announced her intention to seek the Senate Seat being vacated by Secretary of State Designate Hillary Clinton."After all", Ms. Lewinsky is reported to have said, "It wouldn't be the first time I picked up where Hillary had left off."Of course, it was pointed out to Monica that she faced stiff opposition from Caroline Kennedy, to which she commented: "So what? Her name is no more well... read more »

Shame, shame, shame on those bad Israelis

By Gene Kneip | 12/27/08

Can you imagine that they attacked Hamas security posts and killed a few hundred fighters just because Hamas has been launching rockets into Israel on a daily basis, destroying property, and killing Israeli civilians? Now watch carefully (skeptically) the media accounts of what is going on. The very first emphasis I read was on a few civilians who were killed. Well, all of the Israelis who have been killed or wounded were civilians.And... read more »

The Blago News Conference

By Gene Kneip | 12/20/08

Yesterday, the Governor of Illinois held a much heralded press conference to say absolutely nothing of substance. Instead, he spent three minutes or so ranting and raving about his total innocence, and about how he would never, never, never, never surrender. He vowed to fight on and on and on and on until his innocence was proven. If there was anything at all to be learned, it came from his statement (threat?) that he would use the Courts as the... read more »
