We're Losing Our Country - But What Can We Do?

By Joan Swirsky | 02/23/09

From the moment Barack Obama was inaugurated on January 20th, the leftists who control Congress have - at his behest - gone on a drunken binge of runaway spending vis-à-vis an $850-bilion faux "stimulus" program that rewards failure and punishes success. It is already clear that The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act should be renamed The American Relapse-And-Needs-Resuscitation Act, as is evidenced by both the simultaneous plunge of the... read more »

Obama's Revenge

By Joan Swirsky | 02/15/09

Once upon a time, a white teenager from Kansas got pregnant by her black Kenyan boyfriend, Barack Obama Sr., or was it her husband? Whatever. (I say no whatever because we've never seen either marriage or divorce certificates). Some say the couple was in Kenya visiting relatives when the birth of their son, Barack Obama Jr., occurred. No matter. (I say no matter because we've never seen an authentic birth certificate). By the time the baby was... read more »

Why On Earth Is Jane Garvey On Obama's Radar Screen?

By Joan Swirsky | 02/05/09

It's no surprise that President Obama and his crack vetting team are considering Randy Babbitt as the next head of the Federal Aviation Administration. After all, Mr. Babbitt is former head of the country's largest union representing airline pilots, and we know how near and dear to Mr. Obama's heart unions are."The choice, if it goes through as anticipated,"  writes the Wall St. Journal's Andy Paszfor (who reports on the FAA), "would... read more »

It's The Jews, Stupid

By Joan Swirsky | 01/22/09

For many decades after World War II, Eastern Europe was completely Judenrein, a Nazi term meaning free of - actually rid of - Jews. Small wonder, given that the region's concentration camps and crematoria - Chelmno, Belzec, Treblinka, Sobibor, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Dachau, Majdanek, Sachsenhausen, Buchenwald, Flossenburg, Mauthausen, Ravensbruck, et al.- had incinerated millions of Jews in the Nazi's reign of terror. But even in the utter absence... read more »

Thank You, President Bush

By Joan Swirsky | 01/08/09

As I type this article, I think of the figurative-millions of both mundane and serious things I've done over the past seven-and-a-half years with absolute confidence in America's safety. That confidence was inspired by the steadfast leadership and unblinking courage of President George W. Bush, as he faced our country's most deadly enemies and succeeded in preventing another ghastly attack on American soil after September 11th. I know, I know.... read more »

If Blag Blabs

By Joan Swirsky | 12/11/08

THIS ARTICLE WAS REMOVED DUE TO INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT. Beside figuring out how he'll weasel out of his recent arrest - and probable conviction - for trying to sell President-elect Barack Obama's senate seat to the highest bidder, I wonder if the disgraced governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, is contemplating the fates of Lee Harvey Oswald, Alexander Litvinenko, Vince Foster, Jim McDougal and Ron Brown - all of whom were summarily disposed of... read more »

Obama The Trojan Horse

By Joan Swirsky | 12/03/08

In Virgil's epic poem, the Aeneid, the story is told of Odysseus's plot to conquer Troy, thus ending 10 years of defeat for the Greeks. The Greeks' plan was to trick the citizens of Troy (the Trojans) into believing that the giant wooden horse they had constructed was a gift from the goddess Athena. They left their "gift" outside the city and withdrew their troops and ships, the better to convince the Trojans of their benevolent intentions. At... read more »

The Great Birth Certificate Scandal-Cover-Up of the 2008 Election

By Joan Swirsky | 11/22/08

This week, newscasters reported that al Qaeda's #2 terrorist disparaged the election of Barack Obama, and hurled racial slurs at Obama himself. "The report has not been confirmed by the State Department," they all said, but they reported it anyway.Last week, Fox News reporter Carl Cameron told viewers that three "anonymous" insiders of Sen. McCain's campaign said that Sarah Palin was, in essence, a diva and a dunce. He - and dozens of others who... read more »
