BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Dienhart is the Editor and Publisher of Georgia Politics Daily, and has been a political junkie his whole life. Having become one of the top political bloggers in the State of Illinois, Mr. Dienhart accepted the challenge of setting up and running a group blog for residents of his new home, Georgia. After launching the phenomenally successful Georgia Politics Daily, Mr. Dienhart has accepted a position as editor for Red County's Georgia portal. Politically, Mr. Dienhart "cut his teeth" in Illinois as well. He was a key staffer on the following campaigns:

  • Gen. John Borling's Senatorial campaign
  • Steve Rauschenberger 's Governors campaign
  • Steve Rauschenberger's Lt. Governor campaign
  • Ron Gidwitz's Governor's campaign
  • Countless local campaigns
  • Mr. Dienhart has interviewed Presidential candidates (Mitt Romney and John McCain) as well as conservative media stars (Matt Margolis and Bay Buchanan). He is an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Dienhart lives in South Suburban Atlanta with his wife and their four children.

The law is set up to ensure that only American citizens vote in American elections. Sounds simple, right? Non- Americans being allowed to vote in America's elections is not only impractical and illegal- it would allow foreign interference in our elections. T he... read more »

Memorial day, and Succession

By George Dienhart | 05/26/09

As I attended our local memorial day festivities, my mind turned toward succession form the union during one of the lulls in the ceremonies. It seems to me that talk of succession shames Republicans who attempt to uses it as  a wedge issue, and also allows the left to paint us as a bunch of radicals. We can't afford this type of behavior. We already have  Democratic gubernatorial candidate  David Poythress, making the following... read more »

We do graft in Georgia, don't we?

By George Dienhart | 05/19/09

Of the $6.6 million his campaigns collected from 1998 to 2008, at least $2.6 million came from... read more »

Cantor Watch: the Congressman Leads on Job Creation

By George Dienhart | 04/08/09

Why “Cantor Watch?” Because the young Virginian is supposed to be the future of our party… I think the good congressman is onto something here (we promised to point out the good with the bad). Today is a good day, based on Congressman Cantor's op/ed in the Washington Times today. The piece focuses on the fact that small businesses drive job creation in the United States. Congressman Cantor lays out the Republican... read more »
