By Angela F. F. Davis | 10/29/09
Courage, tenacity, and experience are the outstanding qualifications of the Republican challenger for Kennedy's vacant U.S. Senate Seat. Those words embody the well grounded candidacy of State Senator Scott Brown (R) who is on the ballot as the Republican candidate for the Massachusetts U.S. Senate Seat. Wherever he goes in Massachusetts he is generating high levels of excitement. The crowds cannot seem to get enough of him. Talk... read more »

Calling all GOP Candidates in Massachusetts: Time to Get In the Game and Win!
By Angela F. F. Davis | 09/30/09
My friends, we said here in my little corner of the world that we'd be doing what it takes to get the GOP in a stronger more competitive position. So the past few months have been dedicated to donor cultivation, money raising and locating candidates to run for office. Hence, the upcoming campaign school which will teach our GOP candidates how to play the game better than the Dems: Sunday, November 1, 2009 Calling All... read more »

Dukakis' Only Way to D.C.
By Angela F. F. Davis | 09/22/09
It would appear that Former Massachusetts Governor and Presidential Candidate Mike Dukakis (D), has a plan to get to Washington D. C after all. Do you remember how his attempt ended miserably while running for President? Though most Massachusetts residents would agree we would have quickly handed him over to any other region to get him the heck out of this state. But he never quite made it. Cut to present day, and along... read more »

Kennedy's U.S. Senate Seat: Appoint, or Elect?
By Angela F. F. Davis | 09/05/09
That is the question. U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy's death is resurrecting all the mythology and memories associated with his forty plus years of Democratic demagoguery. The factual memories, pleasant and unpleasant, and the manufactured revisions of little slices of history, will linger on in the days and weeks ahead as one asks “what will become of Massachusetts now?” Nobody knows just who his successor will turn out to... read more »

The Wild Wild East
By Angela F. F. Davis | 08/22/09
Wild all right. It feels as though Massachusetts is the staging area for a huge political corruption rodeo. The corrupt politicians are the cowboys and the stampeding cattle dodging the lassos are runaway government spending programs and wild charging tax increases. Let’s get the August low-down, or in this case “hoedown”: August 1st our statewide sales tax increase of 25%, courtesy of Governor Patrick, kicked... read more »

Message from Massachusetts: Words Matter, Mr. President
By Angela F. F. Davis | 07/26/09
Last week’s comments by President Obama completely derailed his White House press conference on healthcare. Rahm Emanuel must have been pulling his hair out watching this train wreck in motion; every politician knows that you never allow a potentially toxic topic to derail and end your press conference. What had been intended to drum up ratings and support for Obama’s healthcare package ended up as a public relations... read more »

Republicans Push Mihos To Run For Treasurer
By Angela F. F. Davis | 07/13/09
Today I called for Christy Mihos to run for State Treasurer by launching a "Draft Christy for Treasurer" facebook effort. Charlie Baker’s entry into the 2010 race for Governor has generated substantial interest within GOP circles to get former independent Mihos to run for the open State Treasurer’s seat. Mihos left the Republican Party over 4 years ago and bitterly attacked our Republican... read more »

Introducing the Few Who Have Political Spines on Beacon Hill!
By Angela F. F. Davis | 06/24/09
Here in Boston we are without the sun, without a glimpse of summer, and without any promising sign of a budget that exhibits common sense. On Friday June 19, 2009, the Massachusetts House and Senate passed the budget which is now on the Governor's desk. He has ten days to review and approve it, or make vetoes or reductions. He can approve or veto the entire budget, or may veto or reduce certain line items or sections, but... read more »

The Left Wing Mantra of Hate Speech
By Angela F. F. Davis | 06/14/09
This week the Left Wing Liberals are reverting to a well-practiced old script in their playbook. Democrats are attacking conservatives by accusing them of using hate speech. The latest example is the senseless shooting by an obviously deranged old man at the Holocaust Center a few days ago. Vicious attacks have been made against the Right Wing accusing them of fomenting the hatred that led to the deadly incident. All this while they refused to... read more »
