Always look for the positive in life because no matter how bad off you think you are, there's somebody in a lot worse shape somewhere else. Taxes were lower, business was less regulated and 'common sense' weren't words we dreamed about but used to succeed... My Favorite Politician Today: I like Ronald Reagan and everything he stood for, Marco Rubio. Jeb Bush, Allen West, Vern Buchanan, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Herman Cain, Ron Paul but NOT his Foreign Policy and anyone who is willing to stick to American Conservative Core Constitutional Patriotic values and than stand up for them when the time comes... Most memorable Political Event Attended: The Presidential Inauguration of President Richard M Nixon where my Army Unit marched in his Inaugural Parade... Describe Yourself (conservative, Libertarian, etc.): American, Conservative, Independent, Patriot, TEA Party supporter who believes in America... Favorite political quote (said by whom)? "Ask not what your Country can do for you, but what YOU can do for your Country." - John F Kennedy... NRSC or Senate Conservatives Fund? Neither, I remain INDEPENDENT and will stay that way... Republican Party or Tea Party? I was TEA Party 'before' TEA Party was ever cool... Cut taxes, cut spending or both? Both - we have a SPENDING problem and enough income to cover our expenditures plus cutting taxes has proven to WORK. We did just that in the Mid 80's when I was a small town Tax Assessor in Upstate NY. We cut everybody's property tax and gave all business a tax break which turned our small town from a dying town into a boom tow, doubling our population and raising our tax coffers 2.5 times above where they were during a 4+ year period...
