Round Rock ISD Seeks to Raise Taxes

The Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees voted over the summer to put nearly $300,000,000 in bond proposals on the November ballot. These bonds, if passed, will raise the total amount of public debt on Round Rock ISD citizens to nearly $1 billion since 1993. Lance's "Heroic" Comeback

Lance Armstrong announced today that he plans to race in the 2009 Tour de France to raise money to end cancer. Adios to the TIF Tax

As of September 1, 2008, the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund (TIF) Tax is eliminated in Texas. It's about time!This tax was created by the Texas Legislature in the mid-1990's as a tax to build telecommunications infrastructure in Texas.
