Is Journalism Dead Or Just in a State of Suspended Transgender Animation?

By JL "Buzz" Aguirre | 05/09/09

Some have said that journalism died during the recent presidential elections, pointing to the practice of Pen to Play – where journalists such as Chicago Tribune's Jill Zuckman who got rewarded with a political appointment for her brand of journalism Zuckman was the second Tribune Co. reporter  to accept a position with the Obama administration in February of 2009. Peter Gosselin, who previously had reported for the Los Angeles Times,... read more »

Obama - The Great Prevaricator or Man of His Word?

By JL "Buzz" Aguirre | 05/08/09

Hey Armenians, don't rock the boat. Never mind it's a sinking boat or better yet, no boat at all. From what I can tell so far, there appears to be two schools of thought, and "thought" is the operative word.  First, the President speaking in Turkey says "I've never changed my mind."  Now the Armenians are supposed to be mind readers. The problem is that every step this President took in Turkey was documented... read more »

Join a C-Bag Revolt Near You

By JL "Buzz" Aguirre | 05/01/09

President Barrack Obama made it very clear during his 100th-day town hall meeting in St. Louis Wednesday that he did not think highly of the organic tea bag revolts and instead blamed the Fox News Channel for stirring the tea pot.  While White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters: “I don't know if there's a specific response to protests….”   Alexander Burns, writing for Politico.com quotes the... read more »

WHO: Reference to porkers and tax-hikers is an insult to pigs

By JL "Buzz" Aguirre | 04/30/09

The Blue Swine Flu Pandemic – A new kind of Pandemic

By JL "Buzz" Aguirre | 04/28/09

The President has infamously stated that words must mean something.  Then there is the old adage stating that a picture is worth 1,000 words. If you have never driven from Southern California to Washington State, you are missing more than a million words, or a scenic route.  Particularly when you compare the Blue, Blue Pacific to the Italian /French Riviera. Whether it is the Angeles National Forest, the San Joaquin Valley, Weed... read more »

The OCSD Is Watching the BOS – Who IS Watching the OCSD?

By JL "Buzz" Aguirre | 04/23/09

The initial premise and intent of this piece was to ask the Orange County Board of Supervisors if they are representing the intersts of taxpayers in law enforcement matters. Since elected to the board of supervisors, now chairperson Bates has failed  to answer any of our questions.  So it is not surprising that we have not heard from the BOS – therefore, one conclusion is that The OCSD Is Watching the BOS – The BOS is... read more »

Deceit IS New Transparent

By JL "Buzz" Aguirre | 04/23/09

After promising the most transparent administration in history, the President signed a Spending Bill, otherwise known as the BINER (the Bill No one Read).  Then there is a Treasury Secretary who does not have people – as in H&R, for example.  Not to mention that the President made it clear he did not want any lobbyists in the new administration, unless these were from the finance, banking, auto media (as in Immelt) and... read more »

Laguna's Katie Express Rolls Along

By JL "Buzz" Aguirre | 04/16/09

Laguna Woods Village, CA -  Katie McDaniel was removed March 13, 2009 from the Third Mutual Board for no cause, by board members who chose to side with the property management company. More than likely, part of “the cause” stems   from an altercation during a closed door board meeting documented in OC Sheriff’s Battery Report 09-038879, alleging that board president Moore threw a bottle full of water hitting and... read more »
