BIOGRAPHY
Michael Kerr is the Director of Business Development at Red County. He oversees the expansion of the Red County blog network and is also responsible for establishing various strategic relationships. Michael is also responsible for managing the ongoing relationship between contributors and the site.
Michael has an extensive background in sales and marketing. Prior to joining Red County, he spent fifteen years in the real estate industry, specializing as a marketing consultant.
Michael is active in local politics and has worked on a number of local and national political campaigns. He resides with his wife, April in Redondo, Washington.

Sarah Palin announced that she would be stepping down as Alaska's governor at the end of the month. She intends to transfer authority to Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell on July 26th. 6 Mousavi Supporters Reportedly Hanged

Six of Mousavi's supporters were reporteldy hanged in the holy city of Mashhad on Monday. This news comes as Iranian government officials warned that protests over the disputed election, now declared official, would be met with harsh consquences. Poll: Horse Race in Florida Senate Primary

The Club for Growth has released a poll showing Florida Governor Charlie Crist with a clear lead in the state's Republican Senate primary. Hackers Leave Iranian Gov. Websites "Broken"

Western 'hactivists" are successfully targeting government web pages in Iran. This is in response to the Iranian crack down on the flow of information through cyberspace. The extent to which the hackers have been able to disrupt the government sites has not been determined. Police Clash with Protesters in Tehran

It is being reported that police have clashed with over 3000 protesters near a mosque in north Tehran. Protesters have suffered broken arms and legs and an elderly woman was reportedly beaten by police. More than 2,000 people are in detention and hundreds more are unaccounted for since the government crackdown on protests began. This video was posted in the last hour. read more »

House Passes Cap and Tax with Help from 8 Republicans

The House of Representatives narrowly passed the Cap and Trade bill today with the help of 8 wayward Republicans. The vote was 219-212, with 44 Democrats voting against the measure. It’s being hailed as a major victory for Barack Obama and the Democratic leadership. Protesters Storm Iranian Embassy in Sweden

Protesters stormed the Iranian embassy outside Stockholm, Sweden today, tearing down a fence and climbing through shattered windows to gain access to the building. Over 150 people had gathered to protest against the Iranian regime. Police were brought in to remove the protesters and at least one person was arrested. Iran Admits More that 50 Chicagos of its Own

According to the BBC: The Iranian election supervising body, the Guardian Council, has acknowledged irregularities in more than 50 constituencies in the disputed presidential election. It said that the number of votes collected in 50 cities had surpassed the number of voters registered, but added that it did not affect the overall result of the election won by President Ahmadinejad.
