Dear Mainstream Media, When Will you Accurately Report on ACORN?
By Michael Kerr | 10/21/09
Dear Mainstream Media, When are you going to report on the facts regarding ACORN, (i.e., the offender) rather than focusing on the whistle blowers? You sat on this story until it became too big to ignore and when you finally did report on it, your focus was on the messenger. Turns out, the messenger has even more evidence which directly refutes claims made by ACORN, which you were all too happy to parrot. Do your political considerations... read more »

By Michael Kerr | 09/21/09
The White House is pulling out all the stops to try and drum up support for its quickly fading health care agenda. However, their latest efforts appear to be a monumental abuse of power that includes the use of the NEA to campaign for the support of Obamacare. The Big Hollywood blog has broken a story regarding a conference call with the Deputy Director of the White House and a group of handpicked, pro-Obama artists who also happen to be... read more »

The bill passed by a margin of 345-75 vote, with Democrats accounting for all of the “no” votes. Today’s vote to defund ACORN comes on the heels of the release of another video made in the organization’s... read more »

Hollywood's "Victory" in RealDVD Case Will Backfire
By Michael Kerr | 08/20/09
The movie industry won a recent court battle when U.S. District Court Judge Marilyn Hall Patel granted a preliminary injunction on the sale of RealDVD, a software program designed to copy a DVD to a computer hard drive. The court deemed the program a violation of the 1998 Millennium Copyright Act. The movie industry’s victory will likely cost them in the long run. RealDVD software is one of the only DVD copying programs that limit the... read more »
Politcal "Activists" Paid to Show Support for Obamacare
By Michael Kerr | 08/10/09
Political strategist Josh Trevino ran across some interesting ads illustrating the left’s blatant hypocrisy and desperate attempts to counter dwindling support for health care reform. Democrats have tried to discredit anyone voicing opposition to their misguided legislation by portraying them as an unhinged mob and shills for the GOP. It appears that the left has a well healed, albeit disingenuous, effort of their own in... read more »

Employee 'Forced' Choice Act will Cost Jobs
By Michael Kerr | 07/28/09
Senator DeMint held a conference call today to discuss the Employee 'Forced' Choice Act. The proposed legislation calls for mandatory, binding arbitration between unions and employers. Unlike traditional arbitration, under this bill, a government arbitrator would have the authority to largely dictate the terms of the contracts. If the EFCA were to become law, it would likely cost an estimated 600,000 thousand jobs in the first year alone. This... read more »
