By Kevin Korenthal | 09/06/08
So the New York Times tells us. Thousands of enthusiastic supporters greeted them at an airport rally in Colorado Springs, where the crowd waved a sea of flags and chanted "Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin." When someone tells you 'thousands were there, what numbers come to mind? 2000? 3000? So how many 'thousands' are we talking about? Check out and below the picture from today's rally.More than 10,000 people showed up for the John McCain rally in... read more »

Obama Smacks Palin On An Issue That Biden Is Worse On
By Kevin Korenthal | 09/06/08
It seems there is no level of pot/kettle/black that the Obama campaign will sink to in their desperate attempt to regain momentum in this election.Today The Associated Press quotes Barack Obama taking Sarah Palin to task for saying she wants to get rid of "earmarks" even though she took advantage of them as Governor of Alaska."I know the governor of Alaska has been saying she's change, and that's great," Obama said. "She's a skillful politician.... read more »

Special Interest Groups Have Destroyed America's Economy & Ability to Compete in the Global Economy
By Kevin Korenthal | 09/05/08
By Kevin D. Korenthal From Big Labor to the Environmental lobby, the American economy has been bled to the point of perpetual anemia for the better part of the last 100 years. These powerful interest groups account for a great deal of the reason that pretty much nothing gets done in Congress anymore and are the main reason that the U.S. economy, having benefited from tax cuts in 2002 and 2003, is now on a collision course with recession. Often... read more »

A Tale of Two Accidental Pregnancies
By Kevin Korenthal | 09/03/08
By Kevin D. KorenthalSomething has been eating at me ever since the mainstream media began to erupt over revelations that Sarah Palin's 17 year-old daughter is pregnant with her 18 year-old boyfriend's baby. For almost 2 days I remained frustrated by my inability to get my arms around exactly what had me so agitated. It was right in the middle of a conversation with someone about something totally unrelated to the election that it hit me.A... read more »

The More They Attack Palin...
By Kevin Korenthal | 09/02/08
By Kevin D. Korenthal1. ...the more Americans come to see that Sarah Palin is just like them. A strong, independent woman who is both a career girl and mother. Americans are also seeing that she struggles with the same challenges they do.2. ... the more Americans come to realize what many of us have known for a decade or more, the mainstream media is biased beyond the ability to report straight news. Their desire to play a role in the choosing... read more »

Obama Says Palin Grand Daughter Story a No-Go, Key Christian Leader Weighs In
By Kevin Korenthal | 09/01/08
Senator Barack Obama has, earned some respect from me for the comments he has made about Governor Palin's pregnant 17 year-old daughter. That is not to say that Obama is also acting proactively against the Democrat-machine and media-sycophants that have a propensity for running hog wild on anything they perceive as a Republican hypocrisy. Anyway, here is what he said."I have heard some of the news on this and so let me be a clear as possible: I... read more »

California Republicans Propose Spending Cuts & Borrowing To Solve Budget Impass
By Kevin Korenthal | 09/01/08
Certainly the thought of borrowing against the lottery and acquiring more funds from local governments is distasteful. But raising taxes in an already soggy economy will spell devastation. Republicans are also proposing the state government take $349 million from a fund that cities use for redevelopment. But the major tool with which Republicans propose balancing the budget is -- wait for it -- SPENDING CUTS. Social programs from across the... read more »

Politico: McCain's Palin Choice Shows His Campaign Is Desperate
By Kevin Korenthal | 08/30/08
By Kevin D. KorenthalI point this out so everyone can go over and check out how biased that this upstart news organization has decided to be.Let's stop pretending this race is as close as national polling suggests. The truth is McCain is essentially tied or trailing in every swing state that matters -- and too close for comfort in several states like Indiana and Montana the GOP usually wins pretty easily in presidential races. On top of that,... read more »

CONVENTION/HURRICANE WATCH: To Delay Or Not Delay
By Kevin Korenthal | 08/30/08
As Hurricane Gustav becomes a category 4, the real chance that this convention will need to be delayed is becoming a reality. Do you think that that delaying the convention is what we must do if the hurricane hits as hard as it is predicted to do? read more »

Republicans: Come On get Happy... And Busy!
By Kevin Korenthal | 08/30/08
By Kevin D. KorenthalI've predicted for the last 6 months that an Obama vs. McCain race would keep a Republican in the White House but Clinton on the ticket was always the wild card. Now that Obama has made the dismal choice of "Slow Joe" Biden for VP and McCain has made the stellar choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, I am as pumped as I ever was during Bush/Cheney04. 3 months ago I was ready start a write-in campaign for Fred Thompson but... read more »
