Adam Andrzejewski (An-Gee-EFF-Ski) Signs Illinois Conceal-Carry Petition, Joins Official Group

By Robert Moon | 10/11/09

Adam Andrzejewski (An-Gee-EFF-Ski) has signed the Illinois Conceal-Carry Petition, which apparently makes him the only candidate in any race thus far to take such a step. Additionally, when I recently created a Facebook Page for the petition, he was one of the first people to join. That means he has now officially committed himself to bringing Illinois out of the gun rights Stone Age.   read more »

Victory for Gun Rights

By Robert Moon | 10/10/09

The Illinois Supreme Court has handed down a significant ruling on the transportation of firearms. The case was called, People vs. Diggins. It revolved around a 1961 law stating that a person is not guilty of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon if that weapon is "unloaded and enclosed in a case, firearm carrying box, shipping box, or other container" by a person with a legitimate FOID card. The dispute was over whether... read more »

2nd Amendment Event in Bloomington

By Robert Moon | 09/21/09

The Illinois Tea Party/912 movement held its last outdoor 2nd Amendment event of the year on Sunday at Darnall's Shooting Range in Bloomington. For $15, new shooters were trained on how to handle, load, and fire a small-bore pistol by professional tournament competitors. These shooters spent about an hour in the classroom learning all the necessary safety tips, rules, and techniques for firing a weapon on the range. After they... read more »

Andrzejewski's Hands Down Victory

By Robert Moon | 09/08/09

Three weeks ago, I wrote about how Adam Andrzejewski (An-Gee-EFF-Ski) was this completely overlooked dark horse candidate for the GOP gubernatorial primary race. I highlighted that his outreach and organizational efforts are "light years" ahead of the competition and, most importantly, that his message is exactly what conservatives here are desperate for. This is turning out to have been a... read more »

How to Take Back Illinois for Conservatives

By Robert Moon | 08/28/09

Almost every county in Illinois leans solidly conservative. For us, the challenge is simply voter turnout. And for voter turnout to improve, we simply need leadership. I am deeply involved in the conservative movement, and the growing consensus seems to be that the greatest obstacle to everything we are trying to accomplish is the Republican Party itself. A small handful of Republicans made Obama's porkulus constituent-payoff scam... read more »

Adam Andrzejewski: The Anti-Kirk

By Robert Moon | 08/22/09

With the recent shake-up in state Republican leadership and the replacement of Andrew McKenna with Pat Brady, many are mistaking this calm before the storm as the end to the party's turmoil for the foreseeable future. But a far bigger shake-up is brewing. The name is pronounced, "AN-gee-EFF-ski," and Illinois Republicans are going to want to remember it. It is the name of an electrifying dark horse... read more »

Obama's Hit List Targeting Judy Biggert

By Robert Moon | 08/14/09

DuPage County Rep. Judy Biggert recently experienced what it is like to be on the receiving end of a trademark Saul Alinsky-Obama Administration tactic: Lie, cheat, and steal at every turn, while simultaneously accusing your opponent of doing the same thing, to confuse the issue. Tea Partiers are demonstrably "not astroturf." They represent the majority of Americans on health care, as well as nearly... read more »
