BIOGRAPHY

While I have not been active politically, I am a longtime quiet observer of the happenings in and around St. Mary’s County. The 2009 St. Mary’s budget hearings and actions of the board of county commissioners has poured gas on my simmering fire of discontent within the political system of my county. That is why I have decided to take up arms or in this case a keyboard to express my opinions and concerns.

Kenny Dement - Too Big to Fail?

The more I hear about Kenny Dement, the worse my opinion becomes. Last time I asked why he is not listening to the people of St. Mary’s County. Mr. Commissioner it's time you really listened!

In 2002 longtime Democrat Kenneth R. Dement finally won a seat on the St. Mary’s County Board of Commissioners representing the first commissioner district, but not before switching parties and becoming a Republican.
