John M. Rogitz is an attorney at law licensed to practice in California and is also the proprietor of the Rogue Report, a conservative political blog. While his blog topics traverse a wide range of current events, John likes to focus on legal issues arising from Supreme Court opinions and U.S. foreign policy in relation to international law. When he’s not writing for the Rogue Report, John practices both intellectual property and general civil law.
Born and raised in San Diego, John earned a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. John majored in English with an Emphasis in Writing, minored in Political Science, and also received 24 units in Physics major-level courses that are required to sit for the United States Patent Bar Examination. While in law school at California Western School of Law, John was president of both the Cal Western Federalist Society and the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. John is currently active in the San Diego Federalist Society.
A registered independent, John’s other political accomplishments include bringing conservative speakers to San Diego, being a guest on conservative radio shows, and acting as Special Assistant to the 2008 Duane Sand Campaign for Congress.
