1. MEMRI for Europe

The Middle East Media Research Institute translates major speeches by influential Islamic leaders in the Middle East for researchers in the West.  It is an invaluable service which has shown how often these leaders have been saying one thing to the West in English, the opposite to their constituencies in Arabic.  Yasser Arafat was the master of the technique.  President Ahmadinejad has obliquely referred to MEMRI’s harmful effects, so it must be working.

It would be a great help to everyone writing about Europe’s struggle with Islam if there were the equivalent of MEMRI in Europe.  Perhaps such a thing exists and I am unaware of it.  If not, perhaps a reader knows of an organization with the wherewithal to perform this service.

Words are weapons.  In the word war, the West is losing.

2.  Book Purchase Program

The Wahhabi Lobby (sounds like a child’s toy, but is the tip of the enemy’s spear) has placed a considerable amount of their literature in the Sarasota library system.  Some of the anti-jihad literature is there also, but not nearly enough.  We need a book purchase program to get our point of view into circulation.  Due to present economic conditions, the library system does not have the funds to purchase books merely because I request them.  Donation is required.
