LEFTWING BIASED NEWSPAPERS AND TELEVISION DYING!

In what can only be described as one of the great lessons of the 21^st Century, biased news is DEAD ON ARRIVAL IN AMERICA! I find it absolutely remarkable that ABC, CBS and NBC are perplexed by the fact that viewership in these network newscasts is now at an ALL TIME LOW! I also break out in laughter when folks like Allen Funk, the publisher of the out of state and Washington Post owned Everett Herald laments about the decline in readership for his newspaper.

HELLO OUT THERE!  ARE ANY OF YOU MEDIA TYPES READING THIS WITH AN IQ OVER ROOM TEMPERATURE? Biased News is no longer the MONOPOLY source of news! GOT IT? Anyone can go up on the internet or spin over to one of the Fox Channels and get the straight facts without the “Obama bias”.

Right now the network on the hot seat is ABC with its all day coverage of the Obama ‘post office’ health care proposals. These proposals are the subject of one ‘Obama lie’ after another, because the so-called PUBLIC OPTION will destroy all private health care plans in the nation and turn America’s great health care programs into a rationed nightmare!

On the newspaper front, the Everett Herald continues to avoid writing about almost every single major issue in Snohomish County from down playing the Boeing 787 delay as a minor piece on the front page dominated by a Silver Bomb fireworks story (Boeing’s delay caused the stock market to crash on Tuesday) to the moronic flooding of some of the best farmland in Snohomish County on Smith Island. The later story is a fuzzy softball, pro-government piece written for the real bosses of the Everett Herald; the ones who gave them their 40% tax break in the State Legislature: THE WASHINGTON STATE DEMOCRATIC PARTY! (Read my bailout story) The Boeing story is part of the new “Don’t shake the boat” editorial policy of the Herald, that began after the late Stan Strick (who was a highly respected editor) retired.

KOMO TV in downtown Seattle had rare demonstrations by citizens objecting to the June 24th ABC ALL DAY AT THE WHITE HOUSE broadcast. One would think that KOMO would be VERY WORRIED about any problems with its public perception, given what just happened to them. KOMO some months back refused to sign a reasonable agreement with DISH network and as a result DISH turned KOMO TV off its satellite operations. The Result: A BIG FAT YAWN! Very few if any complaints from DISH viewers and a DISH customer support manager told me that many people didn’t even miss KOMO being off the DISH lineup, because VERY FEW FOLKS WERE WATCHING ABC according to their customer surveys! On top of that, those interested in some ABC programming simply went up on the Internet on the ABC website and watched the programs there!

On the Everett Herald front, there are at least two organized groups working to not just get folks to cancel their subscriptions to the Herald, but also working on their major advertisers to stop spending money with this SO-CALLED newspaper. Another rumor also came up this last week that YET ANOTHER GROUP is looking into establishing a new newspaper in Everett to compete with the Herald. This MAY be true, but folks in this economic environment I would strongly suggest that that option is clearly not a real business opportunity given the great big shadow of the Seattle Times in Snohomish County’s Westside metro areas. Unless a new newspaper could capture a large readership in that area and in a big hurry IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR IT TO MAKE MONEY. Also, it would require a massive amount of up-front capital in the MILLIONS to put together a new newspaper and set up a distribution operation in such a large area as Snohomish County.

One of my life long friends worked for ABC for decades and is currently one of the top morning talk show DJ’s in the USA; had this to say about the situation with biased news, “Fact is that they are so programmed ideologically with their leftist nonsense that they would rather go down like the Titanic, than report the real news. And that is precisely what is happening to them!” (Disclosure: I worked for ABC as a Disc Jockey for a few years in my youth at WHHM in Memphis, Tennessee and later with ABC/RKO affiliate WHBQ!)
