Mr. Truesdell is the current Chairman of the Florida Whig Party; the official state affiliate of the national Modern Whig Party; Mrs. Truesdell also serves on the Florida Whig Party Executive Board.

For almost twenty-five years, Mr. Truesdell has been known by his clients and associates as common sense based, disciplined, a compassionate conservative, and a person who thinks out-of-the-box. Mr. Truesdell developed and practices the CAMELOT Matrix of Five Components of Wealth. Paul’s style is similar to Will Rogers, plain spoken, highly principled, and well versed on a wide variety of subjects. The Truesdell Professional Building is a technologically state-of-the-art, Santa-Fe style building located on 1.5 acres in the Ocala International Commerce Park near to the Ocala International Airport where the Truesdell children can be found each day at the office, attending school. Each child has an office/classroom, with multiple computers, monitors, audio and video capabilities which allows for unencumbered travel and a focus on technology, values, critical thinking, and common sense. The rustic exterior and interior of the building was designed by Mr. Truesdell and includes a gym, laundry, kitchen, kennel, conference rooms, and a large seminar room; all with wood plank or tile flooring, copper ceilings, and rustic Western art.

In the late 70s through mid 80s, Mr. Truesdell’s urban law enforcement career, experience, and training was distinguished, varied, and serves today as the foundation for today’s economic investigation and analysis; which resulted in serving as an expert witness on insurance and securities fraud and suitability cases on an individual and class action basis.

Until January 2009, Mr. Truesdell was an active Republican Party Member for 32 years on a national, state, and local basis. His community involvement has included various and numerous political clubs and organizations, the Ocala Kiwanis, The Central Florida Community College Public Policy Institute Board of Directors (Study committee participation: Traffic and Transportation, Access to Health Care, and Affordable Housing), The Marion County Fire Rescue MSBU Advisory Board of Directors, the Marion County School Board Half-Cent Sales Tax Oversight Committee, The Hale Academy Board of Directors, the City of Dunnellon Code Enforcement Board and Board of Adjustment, and Technical Security Advisor to the Bloomingdale Homeowners Association.

The Chinese government reported that they spent $60 billion dollars on their military defense in 2008; an increase of eighteen percent from 2007. Official and unofficial American estimates place the actual spending by the Chinese at $100 to $200 billion. China is rapidly transforming itself from a low technology army of mass to a high technology army with a massive number of soldiers. In a war of attrition, an invading army would... read more »

Larry (The Punter) Summers

By Paul Truesdell | 04/09/09

Lawrence (Larry) Henry Summers delivered a professional and calm presentation today at The Economic Club. I watched the event on television and felt helpless when two radicals from Code Pink disrupted the event, causing me to become concerned for the safety of Mr. Summers and extremely disappointed with the lack of security or effort by anyone nearby to take anything resembling an appropriate action. I was reminded of the Nazi... read more »

By Paul Truesdell | 04/07/09

The United States and the United Nations recently sent stern letters of condemnation to the government of North Korea following the provocative launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile that few over the nation of Japan and crashed into the Pacific Ocean. The “nasty letters” puts North Korea on notice that launching unstable missiles is unacceptable behavior in an era of peaceful co-existence. The White House then... read more »

Roar Like a Butterfly

By Paul Truesdell | 04/06/09

Cheers! As I begin with RedCounty.Com, I want to thank Rich Swier for the opportunity. My writing style centers upon my Occam’s Razor approach to life, a strong tendency to think in terms of grids and charts, and a subtle dose of sarcasm in an effort to leave readers with something to smirk and think about. With that said, let’s begin. The State of Florida does not have an income tax. Florida relies heavily on property... read more »
