Welcome to Red County Texas. Like all things Texas, we expect this new addition to the Red County network of blogs to be BIG. Red County Texas will provide insight into local and statewide political issues that impact the lives of Texans.
Travis Fell, long-time blogger and publisher of the blog, Voices in the Wilderness (http://austinvitw.blogspot.com/), has been selected as editor and has already assembled an impressive blogpen of experienced political bloggers and social commentators.
In addition to his active blogging, Travis' background includes time served as a legislative aide in the Texas House of Representatives, work for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, and service as a Lieutenant Junior Grade in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Travis graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in English and earned an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin in 2000.
We are very proud to welcome Travis Fell and all the members of his blogpen to the Red County team and we look forward to their outstanding political analysis.
