Senator Wright lives in his Senate District?
By Allen Wilson | 09/22/09 | 02:50 AM EDT | 3 Comments
State Senator Roderick Wright (D-Compton, District 25) is being investigated by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Public Integrity Unit into allegations that he does not live in the 25th State Senate District.
The Sacramento Bee Capitol Alert reported the story and so did the Los Angeles Times.
It is interesting to note that the DA's office has been sitting on this investigation since they have received a tip almost a year ago.
How long does it take for the DA to complete an investigation?

The Sacramento Bee capitol has gone under and there is no room for salvation on that one.
The DA will take years to do anything, they are washed up and have no reason to do what they do.
I wonder who gave the "tip", as this was an issue in the primary last year. I can't believe anything will come of this, since the residence of most legislators is tenuous at best. Every election has it's candidates who "move" to an apartment or other residence that just happens to be in the district where they are running; i.e. Linda Ackerman and Curran Price. Also, with the full-time legislature, most live year round with their families in the Sacramento region, but there official residence is in the district they represent. There are alot of politician who have alot to lose, in all levels of government if this proves" correct".
