Last night the Southeast Republican Club’s monthly meeting was held at, of all places, a gun shooting range in Hollywood, Florida. The Southeast Republican Club is the largest and most popular club within the Broward Republican Party of Broward County. The club has gained notoriety for being the most outspoken and edgiest of all the clubs.

Club President Ed Napolitano (pictured), who also put together the SE Conservative Conference  several months back in Hallandale, Florida, decided to take a field trip to a local gun range and conduct the monthly meeting to bring awareness to the importance of preserving the 2^nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. Brilliant! Most of these kinds of political meetings will usually put people to sleep about  ten minutes into them - not this one.  Several members, who had never fired a gun before, were taught how to load and shoot a weapon for the first time.

For the most part, everyone in attendance seemed to be a decent shot. Some members who were already weapons trained, brought their arsenal of weapons to share with the newbie’s. The weapons fired ranged from small hand-held pistols (GLOCK 9mm) to an AK-47 and AR-15 assault rifles.

Upon discharging their weapons, the members that I spoke to not only felt a sense of empowerment and relief of pent up frustration the Socialist Obama administration has instilled in them, but these members have found a new respect for the weapons themselves.

Many on the left would say that this meeting was nothing more than a group of Right-Wing extremists playing paddy-cake and shooting off their guns. I was able to find a couple of Obama kool-aid drinking believers that had a blast going to the gun range-pun intended.

Maybe the next field trip that Napolitano organizes will be one to an offshore oil rig or even an actual hunting trip?

Now that would be, as Ed would say,” Fantastic!”
