Democrat Assemblywoman Lori Saldana has opened a Board of Equalization committee to challenge incumbent Republican Michelle Steel. Now, of course, "reformer" Saldana has also opened a number of other committees, so the dear Lord only knows what is going on in her mind... but from the numbers I looked up the Board of Equalization seat in question is fairly Republican so at least it would be a great opportunity to rid ourselves of an official even most Democrats I know consider a bit of a flake.
