I just can't get over this budget, and the six Republicans who voted to raise our taxes by an average of $1,400 a family per year. I voted for Arnold Schwarzenegger both times he was on the ballot. I've put up with his crazy stunts, his inability to govern, and his slow drift into the liberal camp. This morning I wake up to read the Governor has called the six Republicans who voted to raise my taxes "heroes". I'm done. I don't care if the Governor runs against Barbara Boxer for United States Senate. I'll never vote for him again.

I'm pretty moderate, so I can't even imagine what a conservative would be thinking about the Governor right now. Recall? To be honest, even Governor Davis never pulled this kind of move when he was in office. I realize this is turning into some kind of rant, but I'm getting more angry as I write! My new credo: I will oppose any politician who thinks that balancing their budget, with all the crazy salaries and pensions and perks for insiders, on my back is the solution. Period.
