I am for Phil too and wonder what's going on within this County Party when a stand-up guy with a history of generous support for the party and its leaders and years of community leadership at both the Nat'l and local levels has to contend with a Johnny come lately
who's more of the same in District One. MM is a clone and more of the same'o same o'. Phil's the real GOP conservative.

U-T's endorsement of MM rings very shallow when the Editorial Board
doesn't even know the geographical extent of the District. Last time I looked D1 included RPQ,UTC and CV too. Sorry folks,in their haste to satify the Evans clan you've been dis-enfranchised. What a joke and an embarrassment.

Give me a break MM has been an active GOP donor for years.

MM Fan-please enlighten us and show us where Marshall's money has been going locally for the past four years. I bet it wasn't to the local Republican Party. If so, I bet his check went to the old address just like he did for his interview.

I just had to jump in on this one, Marshal Merrified has given next to nothing to local party until this year, and then just before we were planning to take up the Thalheimer endorsement. On the other hand Thalheimer has been a steadfast supporter of this party locally before he ran in 04 and became even more so after he lost. I would suggest you look at Thalheimer local contribution history, such as support for the Mayor’s agenda, Jessica’s Law and almost every major party event in the last five years and compare that to Marshal’s donations, if you can find anything from him at all.
