Marti Emerald a "No Show" at Catfish Club?

I just got an email from the Catfish Club 7th San Diego City Council debate - looks like Marti Emerald is a "No Show" after having confirmed. I have a theory:
Marti Emerald has spent her life exposing other people. On the Hedgecock Show Wednesday, as noted in earlier blogs on Red County, she was openly exposed as a liar. She knows what is coming now that she has been taped on both sides of a number of issues. She knows that there is probably much, much more and that this is only the start. She knows that what she and most of the rest of the public thought was going to be a cakewalk is now going to get really rough, and that her reputation, for the rest of her life, has already been seriously tarnished. Life over the next several weeks cannot be looking pleasant for her.
I'm arguing that she may have been seriously broken by what happened on the Hedgecock Show. I'm not at all sure she will ever face public questions again. In fact, my guess is we will see very little of Marti for the rest of the campaign.

Pretty serious to dis the Catfish Club and the City Club with a no-show. Marti's not only a liar, but a coward too. She's got some explaining to do. Voters HATE this kind of crap.
The other notable no-show was Phil Thalheimer. What was he hiding? The MC asked Phil's empty seat how "Phil" would explain his plan to repay the $1million he loaned himself in the 2004 campaign if he gets elected this time around. Looks like Phil has some explaining to do too.
So I ask again: WHERE IS MARTI?

Labor sources say that Marti is totally out of control.
She and her campaign have literally no idea what else she might have said over the past several months and are petrified.
Anyone who knows Emerald - and I have met her several times - knows that her views are very far to the left, and that if given even half a chance she will go on about them forever. This does not bode well for her.
Marti was also a "no-show" at the San Diego River Conservancy meeting March 21st, which was prior to the Roger show. Same M.O. though - confirm attendance and then don't attend and don't call. The height of dissing a group, but in keeping with her recent behavior pattern.
Where is Marti?
