Attention Campaigns

Red County San Diego now has close to 7,500 daily readers. One good way to get your campaign material in front of the political, press, and public readers is to send it over to me at mightythor@redcounty.com. As I mentioned before, I will post any campaign material or ad from Republicans, and will publish Democrat campaign material or ads as I see fit.
Thank you,

Thanks, Mighty Thor. Bottom line for me: If any politicians or campaigns have a press list (I hope you do) that doesn't include the blogs, well, this isn't 1980 anymore. I wouldn't mind being on your press list as well. barryjantz@cox.net
Shocking! More promises of Big Brother "mighty" thor telling us he will decide what we can read or not read. How do those jackboots fit, thor?
I FIRMLY BELIEVE IN FREE POLITICAL SPEECH. THAT BEING THE CASE, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE UNION TRIBUNE OR THE RICK ROBERTS SHOW SHOULD HAVE TO LET ME EXPRESS MY VIEWS IN THEIR FORUMS SIMPLY BECAUSE I HAVE A POLITICAL OPINION.
IN SHORT, I PAID FOR THIS MICROPHONE, AND IF YOU WANT YOUR VERSION OF FREE SPEECH START YOUR OWN DAMN BLOG.

Yes, shocking. Star Chamber doesn't seem to know the difference between the right to express an opinion without retribution and the right of the publisher or editor to include what they want in THEIR own publication. Imagine if you will one of the original bloggers, Samuel Adams -- the propagandist of the revolution -- opening HIS publications up to opinions from the British crown. Ridiculous. Ironic in that Adams himself was anonymous much of the time in his pamphlets, so as to protect himself from sure death for expressing a differing opinion. Only someone who believes in a Government run press could believe those two scenarios compare as examples of suppression of free speech.
