From the Brian Maienschein For City Attorney Campaign:

Brian Maienschein Financial Reports Show Widespread Support
In financial disclosure reports filed with the San Diego City Clerk for the most recent reporting period, Brian Maienschein outraised all of the other candidates for City Attorney.
In the period covering January 1, 2008 to March 17, 2008, Brian Maienschein raised $67,865 in donations. Former state legislator Jan Goldsmith raised $38,644, and City Councilman Scott Peters raised $22,865. Incumbent Michael Aguirre raised $7,400. Amy Lepine did not have to file electronic reports by virtue of not reaching the minimum threshold for electronic filing.
"I am greatly pleased at the level of support that has been shown to me and my campaign for City Attorney. It is truly an honor to have so many people come forward and be so supportive," said Maienschein. When asked about the significance of the financial figures, Maienschein consultant Chris Wysocki said, "What this shows is that people in San Diego recognize Brian's proven leadership and his commitment to making San Diego a better place. People are contributing to his campaign because they know him to be an experienced leader who will act with integrity and hold government accountable for its actions."

Hey Brian - Your opening message on your website says "give me a call" but I don't see a phone number anywhere! I hope this isn't indicative of the type of legal work you'd do for the city. Dotting I's and crossing T's is critically important for the job you're seeking.
