Here's an e-mail I sent to Caltrans this morning in response to their canned reply to my objection to their decision about the Minutemen.

Good morning again!

I'm aware of the press release.

I'm not writing for information, I'm writing to share
my disgust with Caltran's decision.

Treason according to our Constitutions is giving aid
and comfort to the enemy.

The groups who brought about Caltran's decision to
move the Minutemen assignment are pro-open borders
groups - they could not qualify to receive a Caltrans
assignment.

If the Minutemen qualify for a Caltrans placement it
is treasonous for you to change their location because
of protests by people, many of whom advocate the
overthrow of our state.

I am very familiar with both stretches of the roadways
in question and the facts are the collision rate on
the 52 is way higher and that roadway is way more
dangerous for the distractions Caltrans asserts could
happen on the 5.

The truth is you, Caltrans, have betrayed us,
California tax payers by doing what you did!

Period!

I have no affiliation with any groups - but I did
spend 30-years as a public servant in law enforcement
in California and I unequivocally know what you've
done is horrendous, a lie and treasonous.

Please don't send me press releases - if you are open
to dialog about this most egregious insult I'd be glad
to engage in dialog - but don't insult my intelligence
with canned press releases.

CAL TRANS should be ashamed, no good cowardly sons a bitches. I ashamed at them for being my so called fellow countrymen.

I, too, have contacted Caltrans about this issue. Although I don't live in the San Diego district I have met with two of my elected officials' staffers (Campbell and Harman) and gave them all the details on this case.

I'm all too familiar with the dirty tactics of Caltrans, as I have dealt with them for the last 2 years on the issue of the LAGUNA BEACH day labor site. Many of you will remember when it was discovered that the city was squatting on Caltrans land and had made many illegal changes to the land and set up a major day labor site operation. Although it had been operating there for 10 years, Caltrans acted shocked when it was brought to their attention. They have since rented the land to LB, but how they were able to do so is a mystery since the land is UNZONED and you cannot rent unzoned land.

When the land went up for auction it was offered at $1.2 Million, but the city of Laguna Beach threatened to zone the land as "open space" so Caltrans pulled the auction, caved in to the city and the liberal coercion who support the site, and now the land is being sold to the city for a mere $18,000. (Yes, that is only 3 zeros). The city of LB will zone the land as "open space" and they will "grandfather in" the day labor site.

In light of the fact the state of California is in a $14 BILLION dollar deficit, the city of Laguna Beach has been able to "steal" this valuable piece of land, and Caltrans has been their willing partner in crime.

Now, this begs the question, would all this have happened if there had NOT been a day labor site operation on the land? The city of LB would have no interest in the land and Caltrans would have fought to the death to get every last dime of value out of the sale. But, once again liberalism has won the day.

Judge Munoz ruled in favor of the city of LB, but it is in appeal.

Judicial Watch has begun an inquiry into Caltrans already.

Big government is controlling everything we try to do.... From wanting to adjust the thermostats in our house to mandatory vaccines to our free speech rights. I agree - of course the baby agency will back down from pressure from the pro-illegal faction. Would we expect anything less of Caltrans?

Okay, this is my third and last comment attempt. I ask that ALL Americans investigate this travesty. Please note that ONLY Hispanic members of Cal Trans, District Director, Pedro Orso-Delgado, Assemblymember Lori Saldana and State Senator Gil Cedillo, marched to the tune of Enrique Morones' anti American, bogus, rhetoric. When contacted, NONE of these offices could provide ANY rationale for their decision, but referred to the lies of Enrique Morones. Morones and his cadre have been repeatedly arrested, tried and convicted of the crimes they insist the SDMM commit. This has been well documented and these pro illegal groups are aware of this, yet cater to an anti American, agent of Mexico all the same. Once again, I implore ALL Americans to investigate this unjust, anti American travesty. Contact your legislators, Orso-Delgado, Cedillo and Saldana and DEMAND proof of their illegitimate "fears" or that the San Dieog Minutemen sign be returned to it's former location.

I couldn't agree more with all the comments before mine. CalTrans is in the pockets of big government. Should this reversal by CalTrans against a citizen's organization have happened? Does any of their reasoning make sense? No! Absolutely not.
But here's the rub: The radical Latino monster working within every nook and cranny of our sovereign nation, has been given a green light. Ask yourself why the borders and ports of our country remain WIDE-OPEN, even after 9/11. Ask yourself why, even now that we have established the presence of tens of millions of unknown, unvetted foreign invaders, our government makes the least possible effort to stop them. Ask why our federal government has not yet begun to address the magnet that attracts the illegal aliens to our country...namely, the greedy American EMPOLOYERS. Can you say, "North American Union?" CalTrans is guilty as hell of crumbling beneath the demands of the Mexican elites who pave the way for the invaders! Will we ever wake up to the fact that WE ARE LOSING OUR COUNTRY?

IF CalTrans allows HATE groups to dictate policy, and they continually bow down to Hate Groups such as Enrique Morones' Border Angels, MEcha, La Raza, and all those other RECONQUISTA, Anti-American, Pro Illegal Immigration Hate groups,
Then WE, the LEGAL American Citizens of this country MUST ask for the resignation of ALL CALTRANS supervisors who are responsible for this Violation of OUR civil rights and Protected Free Speech.
Reinstate the San Diego Minutemen Road Sponsorship sign immediately !

I am with the San Diego Minutemen. There have been numerous attacks against Patriotic supporters of ours and groups like ours, in San Diego County. We will never settle for an unsafe highway assignment any where else! We support the Border Patrol and are very honored to clean their area at the I-5 border check point. We support thier endevors to secure our borders. We recognize that every day Agents put their safety and lives at risk, tracking those whom sneek into our Country. Take for example the unfortunate, purposefull, hit-and-run murder of an Agent two weeks ago. We have regrets for Him and his Family. While on the other hand it Enrique Morones and his Racist, Terrorist Hate group "The Border Angels" whom revel in the killing of thes Agent. We thank you all for your support. Keep calling. Yep Mecha works to re-take the American southwest which never belonged to Mexico in the first place.

With the rise in interest in the environment. Perhaps if the minutemen ally themselves with the Sierra club or another organization dedicated to keeping the environment along the border clean. They may be able to bring bi-partisan support to their cause and illustrate the environmental people crossing the border illegally. As well as the trash left behind by individuals who use the resources of the border angles.

This is disgusting. CalTrans acting on false information provided to them by Enrique Morones while violating the rights of American citizens. Does CalTrans know this Enrique Morones is also a citizen of Mexico and has aided illegal immigration for years?

Other Minutemen Groups have adopted a highway with no problems. The Campo Minutemen adopted Buckman Springs Road 2 years ago.

I am a proud San Diego Minuteman. And all I can say about this unfortunate turn of events is that this is just another point that our very own government is being driven by yet another outside force, the Mexican Government, in this case. And yet another reason I stand with resolve to counter these forces. Those who say the Reconquista efforts are a myth, along with the intended Aztlan goals of our unfriendly neighbors to the south are wearing blinders.

Caltran would just love the film that I recently saw on DVD called Border by Chris Burgard. It should be required viewing for anyone who doesn't understand what all the fuss is about illegal immigration. This is an important issue that our government is refusing to address.
