THE WHITE HOUSE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
It is an incredible honor for me to be the leader of such a strong team, on behalf of the American people - a team of men and women who could be doing something else, but have decided, I want to serve the greatest land on the face of the Earth.

We are looking for those who would like to serve something greater than themselves.
A White House Internship is an opportunity for current students and recent graduates to experience everyday life at the White House while working with high-level officials on a variety of essential tasks and projects.
Strong applicants should exhibit:
* Sound academic credentials
* A demonstrated interest in public service
* Solid written and verbal communication skills
* A history of community involvement
* Strong character and leadership skills
Beyond experiencing the day-to-day operations of the White House, interns participate in a speaker series, tours, community service projects, and various White House events:
Past speakers and events include:
* President Bush
* Press secretary
* Chief of Staff
* Senior Advisory to the President
* Assistant to the President for Speechwriting
* A visit to the Vice President's residence
* Marine One arrival or departure
* Photo opportunity with the President
* Community Service Volunteer Project
* East and West Wing tours

Yes, a proud chance to work on a presidency that is coming to an end.
One that has lost us elections to Dems for them to take back the Senate, take back the House and the majority of the Governor seats.
One that has not addressed our immigration issue, our port security, not supplied enough equiptment to our troops overseas, allowed the terrorists to re-arm in Afganistan, China to grow more economically powerful and allowed the Walter Reed to mistreat our troops too.
It is so bad even Karl has left the building.
