From the Riverside Press Enterprise:

"In a statement released a short while ago, Dutton, the top Republican on the Senate's budget-writing panel, said he disagreed with Adams' vote but "political disagreements happen all the time."

Dutton, though, accused Adams of "attacking the integrity of Senate Republicans" when Adams was quoted in the newspaper as calling them "recalcitrant" for refusing to put up the necessary votes to pass the legislation."

Adams would not say whether or not he will not be resigning as Chairman of the County Party.
