This week, Assemblyman Steve Knight's newest staff member starts work on behalf of his San Bernardino County constituents.

Rebecca Tennison, longtime High Desert resident (and mother to Senator George Runner's talented San Bernardino County Field Representative, McKenzie Tarango) began work yesterday at Assemblyman Knight's office in Victorville City Hall.

Rebecca and her husband have lived in the High Desert for over twenty years raising two daughters, both graduates of California State University, San Bernardino.  She has actively worked to elect Republicans candidates. Most recently, she volunteered on the campaigns of Senator George Runner, Assemblyman Steve Knight, Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt, and City Councilmember Ryan McEachron.

If you haven't had the opportunity to meet her yet, you soon will as she'll be representing the Assemblyman at events throughout the San Bernardino County portion of the district.

Already working for Knight are Assemblywoman Sharon Runner alumni, District Director Larry Grooms and Legislative Assistant Megan Aboudara, and Senator Wm. J. "Pete" Knight alum, Chief of Staff David Orosco. Along with another new addition in the Capitol office, Administrative Assistant Alicia Hawkins, Tennison rounds out an impressive team with a long history of experience and involvement in the High Desert.
