Here's an article from the PRESS ENTERPRISE regarding all the controversy still surrounding Assessor Postmus.  It will be interesting to see if any of these questions ever do get answered:


 

When San Bernardino County Assessor Bill Postmus resumes his duties this month after a nearly three-month medical leave, his tenure will be clouded by unanswered questions. The assessor, through a spokesman, said he intends to fulfill his four-year term, which ends in 2010.
