Republicans are firing back at Democrats as the parties battle for bragging rights over who has more registered voters in San Bernardino County.  A California Republican Party lawyer sent a letter of complaint to the U.S. attorney in Los Angeles and a cease-and-desist letter to San Bernardino County Democrats on Thursday contending Democrats are unlawfully interfering with GOP voter-registration efforts. "Recently, several disturbing events occurred in Ventura County which -- together with similar events in San Bernardino County -- lead us to believe that a concerted effort is being made to interfere with the CRP's legitimate voter registration efforts," wrote Charles H. Bell Jr., a lawyer for the GOP. (click here for more)
