"Big Mac" Panders To The Incompetent & The Irresponsible

Wow.
Big Mac wants government... ahem... er... me and you, to buy up bad mortgages from a bunch of freaking idiots who don't understand basic math and personal finance and want to blame "predatory" lenders and force renegotiation?
I had to check my television screens contrast as I thought Barack Obama underwent a Michael Jackson-esque acid wash. How exactly can a Republican look into my eyes and tell me that they are for small government and free markets...except...when they aren't and they are advocating a bail out on top of a bail out.
Oh! I am sorry. Excuse me. A "rescue" on top of a "rescue".
What a joke!
P.S. Can I get the government to buy my stock portfolio and renegotiate the plummeting prices?

You are hilarious Turner. Pretty soon Uncle Sam should cook and clean for us too. If he can bail us out of irresponisble financial decisions and debts- why the hell can't he cook and clean for me too?

Uncle Sam already took care of that stuff. Go hire an illegal alien.
Ha!
Free enterprise is just that: free to prosper or fail. If I start a business and it fails, why won't the government bail me out? I agree with Anonymous. It's just not fair for the government to favor one business over the next. Then again, our government is just one big business, in and of itself. The only problem with that is that they force people to pay them. I only wish that the taxes we paid went to what we are told it is supposed to go for.
**Joseph, I give up on local paper blogs. Yours seems to have more reality in it. Way to go on a great blog!**

P.S.
I'd like to hear about what happened at Penman's office from you.
