Sun Newspaper Endorses Hansberger, Vogler

The San Bernardino Sun Newspaper this morning announced their endorsements of County Supervisor Dennis Hansberger to reelection in the Third District and Hesperia City Councilwoman Rita Vogler for election to First District County Supervisor.
Five term incumbent Dennis Hansberger is being challenged by two term San Bernardino City Councilman Neil Derry. Vogler is challenging First District Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt, who was appointed in January 2007.

If I were a County employee, the Sun's endorsement of Hansberger would make me vote for Derry. Let us not forget that the Sun published the NAMES and salaries of ALL County employees putting DA's, sheriffs, law enforcement and others in PERSONAL jeopardy! The Sun is a liberal piece of trash paper that epitomizes yellow journalism.
This paper's endorsement should act as a red flag to all readers involved! As aforementioned by another writer, The Sun has dirty publishing standards and publishes hateful slandering trash! I'm terrified to wonder what would happen to the high desert if Vogler were elected. She has already floundered in her campaigning, has campaigned dirty, and has provided the voters with no concrete reasons as to why she would be a better candidate. Hansberger is a greedy pig who would rather take perks he has not agreed upon (better benefits for County Supervisors which were voted on. Hansberger and Mitzelfelt voted no, and even though the incentive passed, Hansberger took the perks. Mitzelfelt did not by the way). If these are the kind of people The Sun endorse, I am sadly let down again by it's faltering reputation.
