Assemblyman Paul Cook's Chief of Staff to Run for Office

Apparently Assemblyman Paul Cook's (R-Yucca Valley) Chief of Staff, Sam Cannon, has announced he is following in the footsteps of his boss and is running for public office.  He plans on running for a seat on the Roseville City Council, which is a suburb of the state Capitol.

"I want to be part of the community on a broader level," said Cannon, who has served on the city's planning and public utilities commissions.  (pe.com).

Best of luck to you, Sam.  If the saying "you are who your friends are" really is true, then we can rest assured that he will be a great leader for that community.
