Ex-Colton Councilman Gets 180 Days For Misuse of Government Credit Card

Former Colton City Councilman Ramon Hernandez was sentenced today to 180 days in jail for misuse of his government issued credit card. He will be allowed to serve his sentence on weekends.

 

Hernandez, who represented the Colton's First District, incurred more than $5,000 in charges to pay for unauthorized hotel stays and calls to phone sex lines.

 

Hernandez has previously reimbursed the city for the inappropriate charges.
