SB Assessor Bill Postmus' Office Searched...

Search Warrant Served on Assessor's Office Staff Reports

Investigators from the San Bernardino County District Attorney's office served search warrants today at the county Assessor's Office.
     
The nature of the investigation by the District Attorney's Office is unclear, but D.A.'s spokeswoman Susan Mickey confirmed that search warrants had been issued and served.

"I can't discuss anything further than that," Mickey said late this afternoon.

In December, The Sun learned that Assessor Bill Postmus had agreed to speak with the grand jury. He declined to comment on the inquiry into his office.
