BOS 3 Update: Derry Campaign Receives $50,000 From Public Attorneys'

The Neil Derry for Supervisor campaign has just disclosed it has received and accepted a direct contribution of $50,000 in support of the Councilman's campaign from the San Bernardino County Public Attorneys' Association. The contribution was presented to Derry this morning in San Bernardino.
It now appears the Public Attorneys' mean business in wanting Hansberger gone.
This new boost to the Derry effort by the Public Attorneys' Association combined with more than $185,000 in direct and indirect already authorized funding from the San Bernardino County Safety Employees' Benefit Association (SEBA) equals nearly one-half of Hansberger's war chest, and both unions combined still have over $700,000 in political funds on hand. Also, rumor has it that Derry's fundraising is picking up pace as Hansberger donors have started to hedge their bets.
One really has to ask, why did Hansberger need to run again?
