Larry Dick Receives Conservative Leader Ray Haynes' Endorsement
Leading Anti-Illegal Immigration Advocate Throws his Support Behind Larry Dick

(Riverside)- Ray Haynes joined other conservative leaders in endorsing Larry Dick for Assembly in the Sixtieth District.

"Larry Dick understands the importance of securing our border to protect our community from the threat posed by illegal immigration.  Larry supports beefing-up our border patrol and wants to ensure that law enforcement doesn't turn a blind eye to illegal immigrants who commit violent crimes.  He wants to ensure that illegal immigrant felons are sent back to their country of origin.  Illegal immigration is a threat to our national security and no one understands that better than Larry Dick, which is why I'm supporting his campaign for the State Assembly," said Ray Haynes.

Ray Haynes was elected to the Assembly in 1992 and served as a Senator and Assemblyman in the Inland Empire until 2006. In 1996, Haynes was elected by the Senate Republican Caucus to serve as Republican Whip. Through his fourteen years of public service he has become the conservative standard bearer for his consistent advocacy for the conservative cause. In 2006, he was Chairman of the California Border Police Initiative, this would have created a new state law enforcement agency to enforce immigration laws.

Ray Haynes is routinely quoted in newspapers throughout California and is a frequent guest on television and radio news programs.  He has appeared on the Today Show, World News Tonight, Fox News, The 700 Club and National Public Radio.

"Ray Haynes is very respected by conservative activists and rank-and-file Republican voters.  His endorsement is the latest positive news for us coming out of the Inland Empire" said campaign consultant Joe Justin.
