Mitt Romney is committed to barreling ahead in his bid for the Republican nomination, despite the odds being stacked against him, said his son, Tagg, a senior campaign adviser, in an interview today.
Tagg Romney also seemed to allude to his father's continued willingness to pour his own money into his presidential bid, saying the campaigning hope is that conservative alarm about Mr. McCain continues to grow, allowing the campaign to still "fund-raise outside as well as from my dad and make this a real battle."
The elder Romney spent part of today meeting with his staff and preparing for a speech he is scheduled to deliver Thursday in Washington at the Conservative Political Action Conference and his son said he remains focused and upbeat."We're not going to project when it is we're going to quit," said Tagg Romney, "because we're not planning on quitting."

Yesterday, 1:18 AM Pacific Time:
In an e-mail to reporters titled, "Romney: 'This campaign's going on...'" Mitt spokesman Kevin Madden answers all those v-mails and e-mails he's been getting.
With his boss's own words.
From the candidate's speech tonight:
"One thing that's clear is this campaign's going on. I think there are some people who thought it was all going to be done tonight. But it's not all done tonight. We're going to keep on battling. We're going to go all the way to the convention. We're going to win this thing, and we're going to get to the White House."
Mitt Romney. Disingenous until the bitter end.
