AD60 Watch: Rep. Calvert Urges Support For Larry Dick

There are times when it is important to be involved in the political process. Such a time as when liberal tax and spend Democrats control the California legislature. A liberal majority puts conservative basic tenets of good government at risk. Basic beliefs such as: securing our borders, Proposition 13, protecting our families and limiting the size of government.
Today, I write to you about making a difference in the political process by supporting a Republican conservative, my friend Larry Dick, the best candidate for California's 60th Assembly District.
When I first met Larry in Washington D.C., he was speaking to the California Congressional Delegation on the challenges Californians face regarding our water programs. As a Director at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Larry has worked to improve our water supply and at the same time developed better infrastructure for California's future. Having served in elected office for more than 10 years, Larry has established a proven record of fiscally conservative government, fought to reduce needless government bureaucracy and worked toward improving our quality of life.
As a small business owner, Larry understands the challenges our business economy faces, recognizing how important it is to maintain a 2/3 vote on all tax increases and on passing the state budget. Larry, a fiscal conservative, authored the 2/3 resolution passed at the CRP convention.
In addition to my strong support, Larry has earned endorsements from Congressman Ed Royce, Senate Republican Leader Dick Ackerman, Senator Tom Harman, Assemblywoman Mimi Walters, Assemblymen Mike Duvall, Jim Silva, Todd Spitzer and Van Tran, former Senator Marian Bergeson, the Orange County Taxpayers Association plus others who share Larry's vision of limited government.
Friends, make the right choice for the 60th Assembly District, which covers parts of Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Orange counties, choose Larry Dick. We all deserve his leadership and experience in Sacramento.
Please join me in supporting Larry and contribute to his Assembly campaign today; now is the time to do what is right for your future. To get more involved in the campaign or if you have any questions please contact Jane, (714) 553-5742.
Sincerely,
United States Representative Ken Calvert
44th District
