San Francisco GOP Disgrace in Response to Ron Paul Revolutionites

Courtesy of YouTube via Drudgereport comes this clip showing San Francisco GOP organizers abruptly cancelling a straw poll to thwart a flood of Ron Paul revolutionites from voting. The two tiered structure of the event allowed participants to show up and pay $33 to have dinner and hear the guest speaker. Interestingly enough, guest speakers spoke on behalf of Fred Thompson.
Or, you could wait outside and pay $5 to vote after the dinner.
While several of the Ron Paul votes waited outside, some also sat in on the dinner and paid the $33.
Disgustingly, the vote was called off and people were offered a refund. It appears that the MC even goes as far as to only allow the $33 registrants to participate. In response, the Ron Paul supporters even offer to chip in the full $33, but are turned down and rebuffed.
This is exactly the sort of institutional bull**** that pisses off the grassroots Republicans and why the GOP is rudderless.
Thumbs up to the SF GOP for playing by the rules and showing such honesty and integrity. Incredible that the host would think that cancelling the poll and offering refunds is honorable and the right thing to do.
