As December is the month for holidays, where tens of millions of people of different faiths celebrate days of deep significance and meaning, Republican former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney takes a different view towards a season that is often linked with kindness, love and affection for our fellow human beings.

Since December 1, the suddenly struggling campaign of the one-term-and-done governor of the Bay State has launched into political attack after political attack after political attack against his fellow GOP candidates for the 2008 Republican Party presidential nomination.

Here is a timeline of Mitt Romney's attacks during the season of sharing, kindness and warm spirit:

Now, I am quite sure the reason for the spirited attacks by Mitt Romney targeting three of his rivals are due to the campaign calendar (and Romney's incredibly shrinking advantage in both Iowa and New Hampshire), and not because the ex-governor has bitter feelings towards the traditional holiday theme of goodwill and brotherhood.

Still, it should not go unnoticed that the campaigns of those Romney is attacking are not engaged in pre-emptive hitting Romney in posted press releases or TV ad campaigns during this time of peace and goodwill.
