Huckabee Boosts Credibility on Illegal Immigration with Gilchrist Endorsement

Not to be outdone, Mike Huckabee announced the endorsement of illegal immigration activist and Minuteman Project founder Jim Gilchrist.
Huckabee has been heavily criticized by anti-illegal immigration activists and this endorsement has caught many by surprise. It is important to note that within the grassroots movement, Jim Gilchrist's star has fallen significantly and is no longer as influential as he used to be. However, with mainstream America, this endorsement will carry some weight.
Gilchrist has a history of handing out questionable endorsements, as he demonstrated a couple of years ago with his endorsement of Brenda Salas for State Assembly over Paul Cook and others. Salas, a former staffer to open borders supporter Congressman Joe Baca, was a former Democrat who had recently switched to the Republican party.
American Patrol calls Huckabee a flip-flopper and links to his LULAC involvement and other assorted matters.

National news papers are reporting today that Mike Huckabee is in statistical tie with Guiliani for the top spot in the GOP primary poll. Amazing !!!
