REDLANDS CITY ELECTIONS UPDATE: Two More City Council Candidates Hit The Internet

Of the seven candidates running for two positions on the Redlands City Council, five now have active campaign websites. The latest candidates to hit the World Wide web are Pete Aguilar and Jeff Sceranka.
Pete Aguilar is running as an appointed incumbent; Aguilar last year was selected by the Redlands City Council to serve the remaining months of a council vacancy. This November, Aguilar, a 28-year-old financial services sector executive, is campaigning to win a full four-year term on the city council. Pete Aguilar is a registered Democrat.
Joining Pete Aguilar in cyberspace is Redlands businessman Jeff Sceranka. Sceranka, a licensed real estate broker, is a first-time candidate who has a vision of preserving Redlands' status as a "jewel community" in the Inland Empire. Jeff Sceranka is a registered Republican who has the backing of the county's Republican party.
Observations on Pete Aguilar's website: Clearly and obviously impressive. Concise but not overly simple, Aguilar lays out his background, vision for Redlands' future, and press releases from his campaign touting his impressive bipartisan endorsements (popular Redlands Congressman Jerry Lewis, Redlands Mayor Jon Harrison, and fellow councilmembers Pat Gilbreath and Mick Gallagher).
An interesting feature on Pete Aguilar's campaign website: A link that provides immediate and voluntary disclosure of his campaign's donations. With just one easy mouse click, website visitors may view all of the campaign's financial benefactors. An interesting step toward greater candidate fundraising transparency.
Candidate Jeff Sceranka's website is fully functional as well. There is a video presentation (unique to Redlands council candidates), a biography on the candidate, and several color photographs that appear to be of professional grade showing the candidate engaging voters in conversation. Jeff Sceranka is certainly running a serious effort for a slot on the council.
Among Sceranka's supporters are Redlands Councilmember Pat Gilbreath and the Redlands Chamber of Commerce.
You can see Pete Aguilar's website here. Jeff Sceranka's is located here.
Redlands voters select up to two candidates for the city council. Election is at-large.
